We invite you to attend our 1^st annual

Nodland/Sunnyside Walk for Pride

We encourage you and your family to spend the afternoon with us!� We will have lots of activities, entertainment, fun, food and school pride!

WHAT:� Nodland/Sunnyside Walk for Pride

WHEN:� Sunday, September 26^th, 2010

WHERE:� Morningside College Elwood-Olsen Stadium

TIME:� 1:00-6:00 pm (more info on start time will follow)

WHY:� We are raising money for the Nodland/Sunnyside PTA, which in turn supports our schools by providing funding for technology, curriculums, supplies, equipment, activities, assemblies and so much more!��

The Nodland Sunnyside PTA's mission is to improve the interaction of parents, students, and teachers to enrich our children's lives educationally and socially.

Each year the PTA provides many valuable contributions to our students, teachers and schools. PTA funds are used to support a wide variety of educational needs that are not included in the district's budget.

The resources of our school district are limited.

Therefore, the PTA is being called upon more and more to

� Supplement programming,

� Provide additional supplies, and

� Improve technology resources.

In 2009-10, the PTA funded many projects, purchased educational materials and materials that supported technology. These all directly benefited Nodland/Sunnyside Students.

The PTA hopes to provide the same level of commitment to our schools in 2010-11.�
